Adult Split-Sole Jazz Sneaker

Not Comfortable at all. You could also smell these shoes without even opening the package. They run at least a 1/2 small. Ordered a 7.5 for these, my foot size runs a 6.5/7.0 depending on brand.

My old Capezio dance sneakers lost the rubber off one heel and the sole followed! These were a great alternative, at a reasonable price.

Former dancer here! I used to dance jazz in lace up split sole shoes and did a bunch of musicals in my hometown, so I kind of danced a little bit of everything in every kind of dance shoes in the past. Haven't dance in awhile and I bought these shoes for Zumba, since regular athletic shoes doesn't slide for turns on hardwood floors and I didn't want to hurt my ankles. They look very nice, they seem well made and durable but they are a little to hard on my pinky toes. The arch support is good enough for me (high arches) but I don't recommend these shoes for somebody with low arches or flat feet. I wanted to try something different than Capezio and Bloch (which I wore in the past), but I think I'll get back to the well known brands.

I was looking to replace a pair of Leo’s dance sneakers and purchased these. I went up two sizes as suggested and had to return because they were too big. They crinkle up in the toe which I find unappealing. The left one also doesn’t hit the right place in my foot and feels uncomfortable. It feels like it’s going to fall off, the right one fits find. I also find the sole too tall and not what I was looking for. I likely keep using them until I can find a better replacement for my Leo’s.

I am currently in a show and discovered that I needed jazz sneakers that offered more traction. These were easy to break into, despite the fact that the cushions inside were a bit uncomfortable and loose at first. The shoes offer good arch support. I took the advice of previous reviews. My street shoe size is 8.5 or 9. I ordered a 9, and they fit well, leaving enough room for socks.

When I received these in the mail I was so excited. they looked really nice and felt true to size. however after dancing in them the first time they hurt the arches of my feet terribly. I only performed one dance and I was in pain.

I have purchased these shoes for my grandson for the last 3 years. They fit well and hold up to a year's worth of dance lessons. However, the sizing is next to impossible. I have had to send back shoes every year (this year, twice) because they don't fit. You really should include a foot chart that could be downloaded so that purchasers can see what sizes the shoes really are. Or give the lengths in inches.

I love these sneakers so much I bough another pair so I would not forget to put them back in my main dance bag. They are comfortable and work well for samba and bellydance.

Even though the shoe sizing instructions say to choose a size 1.5 or 2 times larger than your regular shoe size, don't do it. I wear an 8.5 (sometimes an 8, every once in a while a 9) so I went with a 9.5. I had at least an extra inch between the end of my toes and the shoes and that was with thick socks on and after dancing for a few minutes on my kitchen floor. Also the arch was in the wrong place at that size. I'm returning them.

If I had to purchase this style of shoe again, I would go back to capezio. This brand of shoe was definitely not as sturdy. It will work for the type of dancing I'm using them for, but I wouldn't purchase them again. They look and feel inferior to the capezio I have had in this same style before. In fact, I could go on pointe in the capezios and not these at all. (And that's with the capezios I have had for years that finally were falling apart. These would be good for small children, not so much for adults who want to get a lot of use.

I couldn't wear these for more than 5 minutes. It felt like there was a super ball in the middle of my heel. Returned them immediately.

I run a studio and work at another. At my studio, I have all my student wearing them! They fit GREAT, just like the street shoe makes it simple and fast for sizing and ordering! :)

These shoes are very comfortable and provide great arch support. I felt it took a couple of wearings to break them in, but now they are doing great. When I try on shoes, I usually start with an 8 and work my way down in size from there, as depending on the brand I wear 8, 7.5, or 7. Because of reviews suggesting these shoes run small, I ordered the 8, and they fit fine. I definitely would not find a smaller size comfortable, though.

I had my daughters dance teacher measure her, and she recommended this particular shoe for her hip hop class(and this website). My daughter LOVES the shoe. She says they are VERY comfortable. Fit is perfect!!! Shoes were delivered very promptly. Price was MUCH lower than local dance outlets. Would highly recommend Discount Dance Supply.

I went with the cheaper style, and I was a little nervous about it, but I love them. They're a little less bulky than the Blochs I had before, and the grips on the bottom are really nice. The leather (as opposed to mesh) makes them stiffer, but they're breaking in fine. Very happy with these. I got the recommended one size bigger, and they fit perfectly.

Very unhelpful sizing info — “US SIZING” means what? Women’s street shoes? Men’s street shoes? With all the negative comments about ppl having to return sev times for wrong size, you really should make an effort to get this right.

The suggested fit for this shoe is Women order 0.5-1 size larger than street shoe size. Men order 2.5-3 sizes larger than street shoe size.

These are a Polyurethane sole so they might be too soft to hold he screws/nails of the taps. They can be attached but we cannot guarantee that it will hold. Please be advised that modified products are non-returnable.

In the youth version of these shoes you don't offer size 3 so i need to order from adults. What size should I order my child who is normally a youth size 3?

Split=Sole Dance Sneakers: I tried on a size 10 in a store, but it wasn't USA sizing. I needed a size 9.

These shoe are sized with a US sizing. The recommended fit, however, is to order 1/2 to a whole size smaller than street shoe size as these shoes do run large.

I have read different information - one set of info (features) says round down a 1/2-1 and the other info (review) says round up a size. What would I go with if I have women's 11?
