These have saved me so much time, money and pain!
I was using nexcare foam tape and placing second skin squares all over my big toes and other hot spots and it was so wasteful, expensive and time consuming. Now I just put these big toe tips on and they fixed my major issue! Now all I need is a cover for my pinky

i like these except the gel rips very easily on the tip then you're just left with the fabric bit. and I've had several pairs of these and sometimes they're kinda tight and cut off your circulation. but maybe my big toe is just fat. i think the fully gel ones (white) are more comfy because it stretches around your toe better.

These were recommended to me by ballet teacher since my second toe is slightly longer then my big toe. Definitely helps to keep pressure off the longer toe.

I first tried these when I discovered that my big toes have a tendency to bruise often. These help so much. They add additional comfort when worn with toe pads, and I've gotten quite spoiled wearing them that I can't wear my pointe shoes without them. I only give 3 stars for durability because after a couple months of wearing them, the gel on the inside begins to get little holes. I don't know if they're caused by my toenails or what, but I keep my toenails really short. Since they're so cheap it's not really a big deal to have to buy a new pair every few months, but it's still annoying how quickly they get holes.

I bought these little guys because I was having really bad toe pain (due mostly to ingrown toenails) in my pointe shoes. Before I got these I had tried all the other padding options, but all of them made my pointe shoes feel too tight on my feet, but these pads work great. They are perfect because they can be cut down to fit your toes perfectly, they are small enough so they don't take up much room in your shoes and yet, they give your toes just the right amount of padding!

This is one of the best dance purchases I have ever made! When on pointe a lot of pressure is put on the big toe and when I put these on under my normal toe pads I didn't feel any pain! They are not too bulky under the toe pads either. If you are on pointe/your big toe gets sore or hurts while dancing these are a must purchase for you!

I love this product! It is very helpful during long pointe classes and rehearsals! It wears on the bottom toe part but other than that it is wonderful!!!!

I have a big toe that is quite a bit longer and larger than my other toes that was always aching because of the pressure on it! I tried so many things from lambs wool to paper towel and none of them worked as well as the Big Tip. I try to wear my shoes with minimal padding because, like many others before me, I am addicted to feeling the floor. I did lose a little bit of contact because it does have gel in it but my toes are so much more comfortable than they used to be! My only problem is that it is not as durable as i thought it would be. After cutting it there was some fraying of the knitted fabric at the end but that was nothing a little bit of clear nail polish couldn't fix! Overall great product!

I loved these so much, but unfortunately I lost them. They helped my feet feel really comfortable inside the pointe shoe. They give your toes padding, so that they don't rub, or they have a little extra support. I would recommend these to any dancer who needs a little support in their toe, or who just needs to give a little space between their toes. My friends also uses this to make their big toe bigger, because their second toe is longer than their big toe.

It helps ease the pressure on my big toe. My only concern is that it doesn't seem very durable. I've only had it a few classes so I'm not sure how long it will last, but there are a few tears at the tip.

I bought the Big Tip soon after I started pointe since all the pressure is put on my big toe (it is longer than all the other ones). I'm very glad I did and recommended it to all my friends. It relieves all the pain and now I don't need to use toe pads, just these and a Jelly Tip on my pinky toe. I can feel the floor so much better now.
Though, these don't last very long. I am on pointe for about 1 hour and 30 mins 4 times a week and my nails cut through the gel in about two classes. But thanks to the Big Tip's "cut to size" feature, I now take the excess material, cut it into a square patch to fit the bottom of the Big Tip, and placed it gel side down. Really helped and they last longer now!

This pad does work, but only if the toe is shorter than the rest and actually needs padding, it will not work on the largest/longest toe because it will actually increase pressure.
I used it once for my first/big toe, because it was slightly smaller than my 2nd toe. It does work, and you will have to trim the pad, but I think it would only work for special cases.

These are an absolute must have for any of those ballerinas that complain that their big toe hurts from dancing on pointe. When you get this, trim it so that it is no longer than half of your toe, to prevent numbness. Also, do not wear with toe pads!! It WILL numb your entire toe. Lucky for me, I dont wear toe pads, just sport wrap (pre-wrap) around my feet. These do not last that long though! Your toe nail cuts the gel lining inside them, so I replace them about every 3 months or so. I still love them!

these are great if your second toe is longer or as long as your big toe.
it helps take some of the weight off the second toe. they didn't last as long as i thought they would though, but i dance often and i dance hard!

I bought these when i would have a lot of pressure on my big toe which caused bad pain and these helped a ton. I wear these with the gellows toe pads and its a perfect combination. They do not last very long though and get rips and tears in them even if you clip your toenails really short. I just wish there was some way to repair them....

I'm an adult beginner and really want to avoid as much pain as possible en pointe. I have Bloch BMorph pointe shoes which have a nice cushion in the tip, I've been using ouch pouches, but could still feel a bit more pressure than I would like and my toenails were starting to bruise. My 2nd toe is also slightly longer than my big toe. These help even out the length of my toes, take the pressure off and have reduced the toenail damage. They don't last a really long time, but they work.

Both of my daughters have danced for years and have used the Bunhead Ouch Pouches. On their recommendation, I purchased a pair of the Big Tip Jelly Toes to wear when I play tennis! We have a lot of hard starts and stops when playing tennis and my big toe nails were getting wrecked from hitting the top of my tennis shoes. The Jelly Toes have saved my toe nails from ripping and they have all grown in again so I have pretty toes for sandal season!

At first, those pads are really really really confortable - better than I could ever dream - but, after a while, I won't fell my big toes! That's bad because, arround 30 minutes, they work great and completely relieve my pain.
They don't last more than two or three weeks to me, so it becames very expensive...

These just save my big toes, which are prone to ingrown nails and bruises. I can't take a single class without them. It relieves pressure but still lets you feel the floor. Although I have been on pointe for two years (I take one and a half hour pointe classes twice a week) the only reason I have to order a second pair is because I lost one- buy them! They help with the pain until I can get used to it, I'm only twelve.

I really liked using these because it made my toes not hurt as much when I went up to pointe. I stopped using them for a while, but once my lambs wool toe pads wore out, I put these back on and they made my toes get numb and burn really quick with in less then ten minutes after putting on my shoes...so they are only ok now.

I never want to use much padding, but I have problems with my big toes that causes pain. I decided to try these, just one on my first toe, and it has greatly alleviated the discomfort in my big toe. It's the only padding I've ever used and I am really satisfied by it.
I would recommended to people who aren't fans of padding try just Jelly Tips for problem toes!

I love these!!! When I first started pointe, I just ordered Ouch Pouches by bun heads and figured I would get used to the pain. I did not. My teacher told me that my toe pads were the problem so I ordered big tips to go with my pads. They are such a great team for my toes. My big toe is a lot longer than the rest so the extra comfort on that toe is great. The thin Ouch Pouches add comfort while still letting you feel the floor, and the big tip adds comfort to my toe that gets all the weight. AMAZING!

At first, I thought it made the pointe work so much easier and painless. However, after 30 mins or so, it cut off my circulation. My toes became numb and couldn't feel the floor at all!
My toe is not even big. I wonder how it is even possible for other people to dance with this for hours.

These prevent bruised toenails and everything, but the gel inside breaks up so easily. I have to replace mine every couple of months, which stinks. They are nice in other ways, though.

I can't say enough great things about these pads. My shoes fit perfectly without any padding, (Gaynor Mindens) and I didn't want to have to go bigger to make room. I slipped these on under my tights and it's like heaven on my toes! They are amazing and don't compromise feeling the floor. I would highly recommend these for anyone beginning on pointe or looking for a nice way to pad without over stuffing or rubbing. A+

I wear these because my second toes are longer than my big toes. These tips do so much for me. They prevent bruised toenails, they put less pressure on my second toes. Also, instead of trimming these, I rolled the bottom up and the rolled part acted as a spacer! These are awesome. The only problem is that after several months of wear, the gel on the inside starts to break up and I had to get new ones. But they're relatively inexpensive, so it's fine. I highly recommend these!

These made my circulation cut off after thirty minutes into class. But I also think the main problem was that my toe is a little bigger than normal, so I would suggest that this would be ideal for people with normal sized toes.

I have a VERY long second toe, so I tried putting these on my big toes to even them out. It worked great! Now my second toe does not curl at the knuckle when on pointe. Also, you might want to wear them cloth side in, just because the gel side absorbs foot odor faster, and it is more comfortable with the cloth on your skin. After about two months, the gel started ripping, and became unusable after about three months because there was almost no gel on it. I love them lots!

These are great if you don't have room for an Ouch Pouch. They cut off circulation, unless you turn them inside out and put the cloth side against your toe. Then, they are perfect and I can dance all day!

This product is a Godsend for dancers with tapered toes! My big toe is longest and the pain en pointe is horrible after 30 minutes unless I am wearing my Big Tips. Big Tips will not cut off your circulation if your shoes fit correctly. You must cut the Big Tip to fit your toe or else it may be uncomfortable, taking up too much space. Tapered-toed girls, this product will be your best ally en pointe. Happy dancing!
