GOOD SHOE, SIZE DOWN
I've been using Very Fine for a number of years now for both standard and Latin shoes. They're decent quality and last a good amount of time... I can't speak for if you spend hours practicing or in lessons every single day, but a few days a week they've been great for me. One caveat, though--size DOWN for Very Fine Latin shoes. I'm a 7.5 in street sizes and have had to do a 7 for Standard shoes in this brand, but these and all the other Latin models I've had I needed a 6.5 to get my toes into the right position relative to the floor. My foot is not wide or anything, and this is a consistent adjustment I've made for about 7-8 years of buying Very Fine shoes. They have good flexibility and in the right size, the heel is placed nicely (a little further forward than a ballroom shoe) to optimize the kind of balance you need for Latin dances.

RUNS WIDE!
I just got mine. Although I haven't danced in them yet, I was able to put them over my 4" wide bunions with no problem. This never happens with a satin shoe plus mesh! This happens to me with vf leather shoes.
Word on the street is that vf runs wide, and they aren't wrong. Buyer beware!

COMFORTABLE, GREAT SANDAL
I was impressed that these shoes were comfortable and secure as soon as I put them on. The silver style is as pictured. These are described as having a 2 1/2 inch heel but they actually have a 2 " heel.

EXCELLENT FOR BEGINNER

WAS SCUFFED BEFORE I EVEN WORE THEM
I really don't know why Very Fine is the recommended brand for ballroom dance shoes. My studio recommends them, so I thought I'd grab a pair. The "black leather" isn't leather, but some cheap paint that scuffed when the package arrived. I put them on ONCE to try them on and adjust the straps and the black paint already corroded off the strap and the back heel. These shoes are made in China, which is fine, but for the price you would expect them not to deteriorate the moment you touch them. I hope other shoes in this brand aren't so terrible in quality.

HAS A VERY STRONG DISTINCT ODOR. SMELLS LIKE GASOLINE.
The dance shoes fit well. It's true to size and good for the price. I'm giving it a four star because of the very strong gasoline smell emitting from the shoes itself. I think it's from the glue they used to glue the suede sole of the shoes. Also four star for the craftsmanship which I'm not sure of the durability.

GOOD LEARNER SHOE
I bought these to work on basic ballroom skills at home with my daughter. We're working mostly on carpet with a bit of dancing on hardwood. I didn't need anything fancy because we're not dancing in public, just something comfortable. These have a nice flexible sole and the strap is easy to adjust. Definitely true to size.
They're already starting to erode a bit on the soles after a couple of wears, so I don't think these are going to last incredibly long, but I'd love to be surprised.

NICE SHOE FOR THE PRICE.
This is a pretty shoe that works well for light dancing. I don't know how durable it is yet. It is fairly comfortable and attractive on the foot. I have dance shoes that are over 10 years old, but paid four times the money for them, so don't expect a whole lot of wear out of these inexpensive ones but a lot less money invested.

COMFY SHOES!
This is my first pair of ballroom shoes and I love them. I have arthritis and chronic foot problems but these shoes don't hurt my feet and I feel very stable in them.
