We love our Hairagami's! My girl loses them often and we are always in need of them for dance! We both feel that they are the most efficient way to make a perfect bun! She takes 3 ballet classes and of course needs them! Thank you for having fabulous products available at a reasonable price! This is my favorite place to purchase all my daughters dance needs!

Fits your hair very snug and secure. The bun is basically perfect and you can place it either, low or middle. I'm happy I have it.

I remember using this product when I was a little kid (I'm 19 now). It was on tv all the time in infomercials...Certainly brings back memories. Mostly good, but some... a bit iffy. The Hairagami IS really great for making the basic bun. Especially if, like me, you're a girl with crazy, curly hair. No need to comb or brush the curls. No need for hairspray or gel to keep things from moving. Just smooth out the top, do a ponytail, and go! It was wonderful (aside from the occasionally painful side effects that come from using what is essentially a slap bracelet to do hair) until the seams at the ends wore out and the metal bands came out. We threw it out in the end, but it was nice while it lasted.

I have had this product in the past and loved it. Unfortunately I lost it and had to reorder new ones. No time during the ordering process did the site say that the product was on back order. Only after I paid for the items and got my email confirmation did it say the items were back ordered, otherwise I would have ordered it from amazon.

I have to wear my hair up for work and my grandmother is always sending hair things but this one actually turned out to be useful and I've been wearing it for 10 years now. I used to spend 10 min french braiding every morning and now it now takes me just a minute, maybe two if I'm having a rough day to put it in a bun. I put my hair in a pony tail first to keep it from sliding out when I roll it up and I put it up still wet from the shower to mitigate the flyaways. The wet ponytail also makes it an extra secure hold and it will even make it reasonably well through most workouts without having to be redone for work and I can fit it under my helmet if I am careful to put the pony tail low enough. Yes, it does sometimes snap, but I find that if you don't squeeze super hard it usually only starts snapping towards the end of its lifespan and is a sign its time to order new ones. They seem to last me 3 to 6 months of daily (12-14hrs) wear, although if you are living in a very hot and humid location, that does seem shorten the lifespan, sometimes lasting only 2 months. So far Discount Dance has had the best price I've been able to find on these.

This took a lot of training to get used to but now I can put it in during my car drive to the studio; it's that easy. Don't get frustrated, just practice practice.

Yes it does make it easy to put your hair up but it made my bun look fake, not a real ballet bun. I'm better off doing my own bun but it may work well for some people maybe it was just my hair =)

This makes a great bun! It's easy with no pins. I'm 12 and I can do my own hair with this.

I have very layered hair, so I put my hair up in a pony tail and then I use the hairagami. You might want to use a hairnet or a buncover to keep in loose hairs. It can look tacky to have them sprouting out. I recommend this definitely!

This product is great! It's really annoying at first, but here are some tips for a standard bun: 1. Do a ponytail first, that way it will be in the right place. 2. Don't pull it all the way down to the end of your ponytail, make sure you get all the little pieces. 3. Try putting the hairagami a little down or up on your ponytail, or starting with snap down or up. 4. Roll UNDER, not up. 5. Spread the hair out around the bun after you have snapped it closed. 6. Use a bobby pin to keep the hair all the way over, and to fold over the little pieces that stick out in the middle.

It takes practice. My daughter's hair is not too thick but long (past her bottom). The bun stays in place, no pins, you can still place a bun cover or pretty scrunchie around the bun. We pull her hair into a ponytail first and begin rolling. We love it.

Hairagamis are nice to have, but they snap on my neck when I go to get ready for my dance classes. Few of my hairagamis work fast and easy. I wish the makers of this product would put more effort into this cool, quick product.

You have to get used to inserting this into the hair, but once you have it conquered - it is great. People have approached me at competitions and asked how to get such a perfect bun. It also gives the impression that you have a lot of hair. Works best with long hair.
